My Warped Mission Statement

Artist of ThinkingBy Jill Badonsky

I believe creativity flourishes with compassionate support, humor, a focus on strengths and permission to be imperfect --so that's how I present these discoveries.

I do what I do because to be able to share something that seems so effortless and passionate is like a drug that I don't ever, ever, ever, ever want to come down from.

I teach Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaching™ because I believe there are a lot of well-meaning systems and good intentioned people out there who are blocking individuals in pursuit of creative dreams because they don't apply essential truths about how we operate as humans. Creativity goes beyond the intellect and does not respond to linear goals. It requires imagination, intuition, and sneaking around fear and the ego with cleverness and unstoppable passion.

That it is presented so dryly, analytically, and with so much pressure annoys me and I can't even explain why I should care so much — but I do. I want you to experience the creative joy and freedom I experience and it can be accomplished in a gentle and fun format of creative experiences where you too learn how you can apply these tools to take you deeper. .

I teach Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaching because I see it bring people alive with love not only for the creative process but for themselves just as they are and just as they are not. I see them become artists not just of their craft, but artists of being alive.

I am done working at conventional jobs where my creativity is used for something I don't believe in, is disregarded, or is limited. I am a creative liberation fighter. Okay, that's a little dramatic, but I do believe that simple steps can bring uncommon results.

Unbridled intuition, permission to be imperfect, small steps, small questions, gentle-gracefilled structure, playful imagination and passion, talking out loud about what we love— these things that set creative dreams on fire.

This model is not just about working with people who want to be more creative or get through creativity blocks, it is also about using creative tools for anyone who wants to move toward being more alive in a way that feels like a celebration of their authenticity.
